So much has happened since my website first launched and I began blogging in June 2018.
Since then, I've experienced personal growth as a wife, mom, educator and in many other areas of my life.
As the author of the children's book, Chevy, The Perfect Pet, I am always grateful when given a chance to promote and encourage literacy using both the book and the activity book.
It is now August and for many of us the 2020-2021 school year will soon begin. Whether classes resume in person or remotely, so much has occurred since most schools let out in March.
For the past several weeks and months, I looked for ways to stay encouraged. Riding my bicycle, photographing clouds, enjoying nature, making new memories and on occasion reminiscing on some old. These were just a few of the things I did to keep my mind and energy positive. Sitting on rocks and on fences if only for a few minutes, brought me satisfaction as the sun shined on my face.
Having the opportunity to hike was a wonderful experience. Seeing the water cascading off the cliffs brought so much excitement to what could have been an ordinary day.
During these hot, muggy and sometimes rainy days, I hope that you were inspired to try something new or had the opportunity to improve on something familiar as the days came and went.
I appreciate you taking time out of your day to read about me. Please feel free to contact me on the link above.
In the meantime, take care of yourself and stay safe. There's so much to be grateful for even during the tough times.
